Shading problems with my cursor using Google Chrome browser

I don't know why but it's been tough to shade or should I say copy and paste lately while using my Google Chrome browser. That's not to say other browsers haven't presented the same problems to me either. Sometimes I get lucky and am able to right click and shade what I want to. While other times I can only shade so much of what I'm trying to, and for some unknown reason my cursor quits shading. What's really frustrating is sometimes I try to copy messages I'm creating such as on this site or on Gmail, and for some odd reason instead of copying the print, the cursor seems to relocate it to another place in the message. :banghead Thus copying and pasting has been a real pain in the hard drive lately.

Hello. What version of Windows (and most recent SP number)? Also could you please post some specs? These would be 1. How much RAM in the PC and 2. Main drive size and main drive free space?

If you could post the make/model of the PC it would be helpful...

 

I'm using Windows XP. 1.99 GB Ram, 39.23 GB of free space.

there is many tool which helps you to test your memory with memtest86 ( for 5 hours or so ) even you have to find the manufacturer of hdd testing your hdd
