Smitfraud-C.coreservice.

SmitFraud-C.CoreService is shown by SpyHunter but can not be removed by it. I have been following the directions in the FAQ under Removing Zlob ada SmitFraud, SpySheriff, Infections. I have DL'd SmitfraudFix (byS!Ri) from the link provided and have created the rapport.txt as per instructions.

I will be continue following the instructions for removal as per the post stickied in the FAQ.

 

Ran the removal tool as instructed to find and create the rapport file in the above post. Proceeded to step two... restarting in SafeMode. WILL NOT WORK. I am on another PC in the house typing this. Infected PC appears to be in a loop of rebooting. Will not start in SafeMode, SafeMode w/networking, SafeMode w/CommandPrompt, or Last Known Good Configuration. Please help. If it would be easier in IM I will provide my email or an Admin from this site has my permission to do so.

 

Got Windows to boot up but only after rebuilding it from the backup in command prompt from the partitioned D:. Still no resolution to the Smitfraud-C.CoreService issue. Honestly I am a bit worried about trying to boot up in Safe Mode again. Plenty of irreplaceable pictures of my two boys on the HD, moving them to disk now.

 

Having serious issues now, can't boot period. System is in a cycle of boot and reboot, regardless of what method I try. Before these issues I used AVG Free and nothing came up, uninstalled that and went to AVG 8.0 and nothing, went to Kaspersky and it logged 1 error but for some reason the 30day trial ran out in half a day. Uninstalled that and put Avast, fully updated on with SpyBot S&D. Avast put some dll.s into quarantine and SBS&D found Smitfraud-c.CoreService but can not remove it. Please read my other posts in this thread for the rapport.txt.

 

OK... after 12+ hours of trying I got the system up in Safe Mode. Help would be appreciated
