    Hello All

This is my First time posting a thread on this forum.

So I would like to start by saying Hello.

I am here to ask for some help and support with a reoccurring issue I Have regarding World of Warcraft.

I have noticed that My mouse icon can sometimes be controled by another source. and the same happens with my character.

I am a little alarmed by this because of the time and money I have spent on my World of Warcraft account.

I have heard from other players of Various horror stories about accounts being hacked and Chrarcters deleted and all there Gold stolen etc etc.

And I do Not want to become one of these statistics.

I have posted the same issue a little while back on two other well known Malware removal support web sites, but i did NOT reallly get a fix.

Not that it was because of lack of help from the other forums. because this was not the case.

I did get help in the way of trying various AV/Anti Spyware scanners including Eset online scanner and Malwarebytes and Super Anti Spyware Anti SDpyware Scanner.

These did NOT find anything at all !!

I ended up making A full Windows 7 clean re installation because the problem of someone controlling my WoW was still happening.

Since reinstalling Windows 7 I have been very careful about what web sites I visit and There should be no problem with malware.

So it is beyond me how this could be happening!

Can anyone help me out with this?

Can anyone help me gain my PC back.
and find and remove any Malware?

I would really like to know what is causing this issue?

Can anyone here Help me please??

    Thanks in advance

Actually it is not. You posted one before but never came back to finish it. See this thread from 01-30-2009: Hello all. Im new here...

More than likely has nothing to do with malware. Possible a hardware issue.

You cannot get a fix for a malware problem that does not exist. However we cannot comment on whether you have any malware or not unless you run are full cleaning procedure and attach the logs. I will give you instructions on this further down.

You only stated that you reinstalled because of the initial problem but you did not specifically say that you still have the problem now after reinstalling. But I assume you are since you are posting.

We can check to see if you have malware with the below but remember that this is checking only for malware issues and your problems may not be malware.

Please read ALL of this message including the notes before doing anything.

Please follow the instructions in the below link:

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
    • **** If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going. ****
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not. MGtools will frequently run even when all other tools will not.

    • After completing the READ & RUN ME and attaching your logs, make sure that you tell us what problems still remain ( if any still do )!
    Helpful Notes:
    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode, you can run the steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
    3. If you cannot seem to login to an infected user account, try using a different user account (if you have one) in either normal or safe boot mode and running only SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes while logged into this other user account. Then reboot and see if you can log into the problem user account. If you can then run SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes, ComboFix and MGtools on the infected account as requested in the instructions.
    4. To avoid additional delay in getting a response, it is strongly advised that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky:
Any additional post is a bump which will add more delay. Once you attach the logs, your thread will be in the work queue and as stated our system works the oldest threads FIRST.
