I have a couple problems with Spybot search and destroy. After I downloaded spybot and updated it, I got a warning message from pcillin that says "suspicious changes" have been made to my computer. I have the option to accept all "11,298 changes" or "manage the changes".
Also, I would like to make sure that the teatimer I unwittingly agreed to let Spybot install is not enabled. How do I shut it off?
Please help. I need my computer ASAP for a current job search.
Thanks for being there! There is no doubt about it, you guys are the best thing on the internet!!!!!!!!!!

ps Do Majorgeeks put people who design viruses in front of a firing squad? Because if you do, I would like to volunteer to be one of the executioners. I won't need any bullets either as I would prefer to strangle the SOB's with my bare hands!

First, the changes that you are referring to are more than likely Spyboy adding entries to your HOSTS file. It's part of the "Immunization" Spybot does to protect your system.

About the TeaTimer feature, see the below thread.
