Spyware and various virus

    I've had this problem for a week now. I tried adaware, spybot, ewido and activescan but nothing seems to work. I am not computer literate, that's why I registered to this forum to get some help. Here is my log:

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

    Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments. Make sure while doing step 0 that you uninstall PestTrap. Also make sure in step 7 that you install and run HijackThis properly.
    • Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support
    • Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
    • Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.
    • After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:
    • When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
      • Bitdefender
      • Panda Scan
      • HijackThis

    I'm running into a problem at Step 6.

    Step 1 to 5 went fairly well (although I scanned using Normal Mode and also used Counter Spy instead of Microsoft Windows Defender due to old SP).

    For Step 6, I installed Sun Java and have Internet Explorer. The problem arises when I run a scan using Bitdefender. It stops after 1153 files out of 65804, although the "scan time" and "estimated time left" continue running. I tried Bitdefender several times (even rebooting my computer), but at each attempt, it doesn't advance after 1153 files.

    Okay skip Bitdefender and run the below first:

    Running Ewido Anti-Malware - attach the log from this later!


    Then continue with Panda!
