    Hi! I am still haveing redirect issues after following all the cleaning steps in your sticky. My computer seems to be talking to the internet all the time, even when it is idle, which seems to be keeping the screensaver from coming on. Also, when doing a search on Bing, and I click on a relavent result, I am taken somewhere else. The only way to get where I really want to go is to copy and paste the address into the address bar. This started happening 2 or 3 days ago, while my husband was using the computer. Hope you can help...

    You did not allow TDSSkiller to do anything about the locked service that it called suspcious. Didn't it ask you if you wished to fix it?

    Let's do the below fix and see where things stand.

    Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista or Win 7, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = http=127.0.0.1:6522
    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - *{CFBFAE00-17A6-11D0-99CB-00C04FD64497} - (no file)
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [lnygibml] c:\documents and settings\hp lovers\local settings\application data\rmttyra\vkvvlqq.exe
    O4 - .DEFAULT User Startup: ukikol.exe (User 'Default user')

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

    Now we need to use ComboFix
    • Make sure that combofix.exe that you downloaded while doing the READ & RUN ME is on your Desktop but Do not run it!
      • If it is not on your Desktop, the below will not work.
    • Also make sure you have shut down all protection software (antivirus, antispyware...etc) or they may get in the way of allowing ComboFix to run properly.
    • If ComboFix tells you it has expired or need to be updated to a new version, make sure you allow it to update.
    • Open Notepad and copy/paste the text in the below code box into it:
    Code:
    KILLALL::
    RenV::
    c:\program files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\Reader_sl .exe
    c:\program files\AVG\AVG9\avgtray .exe
    c:\program files\Common Files\Adobe\ARM\1.0\AdobeARM .exe
    c:\program files\Common Files\Ahead\Lib\NeroCheck .exe
    c:\program files\iTunes\iTunesHelper .exe
    c:\program files\Microsoft Office\Office12\GrooveMonitor .exe
    c:\program files\Nero\Nero 7\InCD\InCD .exe
    c:\program files\Nero\Nero 7\InCD\NBHGui .exe
    c:\program files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\TeaTimer .exe

    Driver::
    oenckwgb

    File::
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\oenckwgb.sys
    c:\documents and settings\hp lovers\local settings\application data\rmttyra\vkvvlqq.exe
    c:\documents and settings\Default User\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\ukikol.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\Temp\2a871b511f5d9c629fd6d914.tmp
    C:\WINDOWS\Temp\d0c372fe212d762c80cefcfd.tmp
    C:\WINDOWS\0.log
    C:\WINDOWS\Jrolirojikehade.bin
    C:\WINDOWS\Udipeyute.dat
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\owexmdm.dat

    Folder::
    C:\Documents and Settings\HP Lovers\Local Settings\Application Data\aahhklcxd
    C:\Documents and Settings\HP Lovers\Local Settings\Application Data\vbwhktdhe

    DirLook:
    C:\Documents and Settings\HP Lovers\Application Data\Orywsi

    Registry::
    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\ControlSet001\Services\oenckwgb]
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
    "lnygibml"=-

    • Save the above as CFscript.txt and make sure you save it to the same location (should be on your Desktop) as ComboFix.exe
    • At this point, you MUST EXIT ALL BROWSERS NOW before continuing!
    • You should have both the ComboFix.exe and CFScript.txt icons on your Desktop.
    • Now use your mouse to drag CFscript.txt on top of ComboFix.exe
    • Follow the prompts.
    • When it finishes, a log will be produced named c:\combofix.txt
    • I will ask for this log below
    Note:

    Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

    Now run Ccleaner. Only use the Run Cleaner button. Do not run anything else on any other forms.

    Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista or Win7, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:
    • C:\ComboFix.txt
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
    Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

    There are signs of a possible master boot record (MBR) infection. Do you have anykind of disk emulation software installed?

    Please do the below.

    First delete the below empty folder:
    C:\Documents and Settings\HP Lovers\Application Data\Orywsi

    Now rerun TDSSkiller and make sure you allow it to fix any problems that it finds. And if it finds any problems, make sure that you reboot immediately after running it. Attach the new TDSSkiller log.

    Please also download MBRCheck to your desktop
    • Double click MBRCheck.exe to run (vista and Win 7 right click and select Run as Administrator)
    • It will show a Black screen with some information that will contain either the below line if no problem is found:
      • Done! Press ENTER to exit...
    • Or you will see more information like below if a problem is found:
      • Found non-standard or infected MBR.
      • Enter 'Y' and hit ENTER for more options, or 'N' to exit:
    • Either way, just choose to exit the program at this point since we want to see only the scan results to begin with.
    • MBRCheck will create a log named similar to MBRCheck_07.16.10_00.32.33.txt which is random based on date and time.
    • Attach this log to your next message. (See: HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post )
