Hi

IE7 on my XP laptop appears to have SystemErrorFixer as a permanent attachment, along with AdwareRemover 2007 and another piece of adware called PCSystemClean or somesuch (it hasn't popped up for a while).

AdAware didn't find them, so I installed SpyHunter, which did - and which deletes them. But as quickly as they're deleted, they come back. Windows Defender managed to find some that SpyHunter missed - but with the same result, unfortunately.

IE has a constant error message sitting under the address bar telling me that I have Adware (yes, I know!) and that I should 'click here' to resolve it.

I reinstalled IE7 with Microsoft's "Malware Remover" - it appeared to remove everthing for a while, including the 'click here' message, but that's back now.

I can't find any threads on either of these. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Incidentally - the third nightmare has now recurred, so I can list all three pieces of Malware:

* SystemErrorFixer
* AdRemover 2007
* SecurePCCleaner

I have run both SpyHunter and Windows Defender in both regular and in Safe Mode. The results are the same - temporary removal.
