Virus persists through reformats and windows reinstalls

I have a persistent virus I cannot remove. The hacker is repeatedly using it to gain access to my origin account.

For the last three weeks I've been trying everything I can think of to remove this virus.

I won't bore you with the details of my last eight reinstalls of windows.

But every time I reformat and reinstall windows, the virus returns.

And after last night I am hundred percent certain that I am not reinfected myself in anyway.

The virus must be buried inside of my hardware somehow.

I will explain last nights Reformat and reinstall.

When the hacker logs onto my origin account it boots me off of the account and into off-line mode, then a message pops up telling me that someone has log into my account from another computer.

I shut down my computer and put in the DVD for parted Magic.

Then I used parted Magic to secure erase my SSD.

I made sure my PC was unplugged from the Internet connection.

Then I installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 on a newly created partition.

After the Windows installation was finished I used the manufacturers CD to install my network connection. Then I plugged the PC into the Internet, and started to do windows updates.

After that I only installed a small handful of programs on the PC. Firefox, avg, drivers from Nvdia, winrar and origin.

I did not put any of my backup data onto the computer with a USB or CD/DVD. I didn't even import my bookmarks to Firefox, I never even opened any of my regular websites.

I changed my origin password and then went to bed.

By the time I woke up the hacker was already on my origin account.

Every time I change my password he uses it to log into the account.

At this point I have no idea what to try next.

I don't understand where the virus could be hiding. I've even tried to flash the bios to the latest version.

Today I tried to contact EA / origin, but they don't seem to have any information that is helpful.

The only thing that I can do is throw away my computer and buy a new one.

So I told them that I would never buy another game from them ever again. I was thinking of getting battlefield 4, but all the stuff started happening when I was playing the beta.

They said they would call me, and now I'm waiting on them.

I'm hoping that they might have some information about this virus, I can't be the only person that has it.

It's undetectable and in the wild right now.

If you guys can give me any assistance I would be very grateful.

My PC is not very old, and it's a big cost to replace my gaming PC.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Please read ALL of this message including the notes before doing anything.

Please follow the instructions in the below link:

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
    • **** If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going. ****
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not. MGtools will frequently run even when all other tools will not.

    • After completing the READ & RUN ME and attaching your logs, make sure that you tell us what problems still remain ( if any still do )!
    Helpful Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode, you can run the steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual update Malwarebytes ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
    3. If you cannot seem to login to an infected user account, try using a different user account (if you have one) in either normal or safe boot mode and running only RogueKiller and Malwarebytes while logged into this other user account. Then reboot and see if you can log into the problem user account. If you can then run the rest of the READ & RUN ME FIRST instructions on the infected account.
    4. To avoid additional delay in getting a response, it is strongly advised that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky:
Any additional post is a bump which will add more delay. Once you attach the logs, your thread will be in the work queue and as stated our system works the oldest threads FIRST.
