OK - I've read READ AND TRY ME FIRST, the rules for posting, etc. and hope I don't screw this up (I feel like George Constanza rehearsing how to order soup from the soup nazi.....).

The family desktop seems to have Vundo Variant causing problems. In following the malware removal instructions here, I am running superantispyware on it right now (posting from my laptop while scan is ongoing), after having done the typical cleaning steps (CCleaner, etc.

If I understand this procedure correctly, I'll post the log from superantispyware as soon as it's done.

I'm attaching the superantispyware log which told me it found no infections.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    No soup for you!!! :-D:-D

No. Wait until you finish the whole procedure and attach all of the logs at once where they are requested at the end of the cleaning procedure.

OK - sorry about posting that log earlier. I am pretty sure I ran all the scans correctly, and am now posting the logs. I did read where some errors might occur while running MGTools, and in fact I did have some of them, but have to log out for the night. Will check the errors in the morning and fix if needed. Thanks so much for the help!

I'm not trying to "bump" my request or tick anyone off, but I'm curious what is going on since I haven't had a reply in a few days. I'm not sure if you're busy or if my post(s) have slipped through the cracks. But please let me know if I've missed a step, or if I just need to be patient while you get to my logs. Thanks again.

Your constant posting is bumping you no matter what you think it is. And the result is no answer because you keep loosing your place in the queue. You need to read the stickies:

Don't Bump! It Only Hurts You!!!

You need to attach the log from running Malwarebytes. Also you need to attach the log we asked for from running MGtools. The logs is C:\MGlogs.zip file. You should not be attaching any logs from the MGtools folder. This was explained in the instructions.

Also please tell us if you are still having any problems.
