Ok, I went through all the removal procedures as asked in one of the other threads http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=139313, and it deleted everything but one vundo file that I still have in the reg. I still can't delete it, and I don't appear to have any pop-ups but I would like to get rid of it because I'm paranoid it is possibly still tracking my info.

    The file that keeps getting detected is Hkey_classes_root -> CLSID -> {6D794CB4-C7CD-4c6f-BFDC-9B77AFBDC02C} -> InprocServer32
The 6D79 is the file that keeps coming up as vundo. Attached are my logs from the scans I ran.

When I got this I was just on facebook and randomly something popped up onto my screen and then I started to get pop ups and all this other weird stuff. I wasn't able to right-click anything on my desktop. Now I no longer have pop ups and I can also right click again, but I just want to delete this file.
    Thanks for all the help!

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Please read the sticky threads. This just cost you additional delays. See:Don't Bump! It Only Hurts You!!!

Run this procedure: Resetting Registry and File Permissions Make sure you reboot as instructed.

Afer reboot, run SUPERAntiSpyware and first check for updates. Then run a new scan. Do the exact same with Malwarebytes. I will ask for the new logs later on.

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    O2 - BHO: Java(tm) Plug-In 2 SSV Helper - {DBC80044-A445-435b-BC74-9C25C1C588A9} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\jp2ssv.dll (file missing)
    O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {DE9C389F-3316-41A7-809B-AA305ED9D922} - (no file)
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QTTask.exe" -atboottime
    O20 - AppInit_DLLs: lzfgrw.dll

NOTE: HJT may popup an error about the AppInit_DLLs line. Ignore it and click OK to continue.

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

Now we need to use ComboFix to remove a bunch of malware files.
    • Make sure that combofix.exe that you downloaded while doing the READ & RUN ME is on your Desktop but Do not run it!
      • If it is not on your Desktop, the below will not work.
    • Open Notepad and copy/paste the text in the below quote box into it:
    • Save the above as CFscript.txt and make sure you save it to the same location (should be on your Desktop) as ComboFix.exe
    • At this point, you MUST EXIT ALL BROWSERS NOW before continuing!
    • You should have both the ComboFix.exe and CFScript.txt icons on your Desktop.
    • Now use your mouse to drag CFscript.txt on top of ComboFix.exe
    • Follow the prompts.
    • When it finishes, a log will be produced named c:\combofix.txt
    • I will ask for this log below
    Note:

Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

    Now run Ccleaner!

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:
    • new SUPERAntiSpyware log
    • new Malwarebytes log
    • C:\ComboFix.txt
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

I also suggest run another scan with SUPERAniSpyware and Malwarebytes to see if they come back clean or still has detections. Let me know because these new infections appear to be causing problems that no scanners are able to fix even after resetting registry permissions.

Sorry about the bump, I didn't read the sticky and was just trying to get a response before I went on vacation... x_X

I ran everything you said to, including re-running super anti-spyware and malware bytes. They both found some files (4 on one of the scans and only 1 in the other) I'm going to post the logs!

Important Notice: A new version of SUPERAntiSpyware is out that should help with this problem from Vundo.
    • Please uninstall your current version (this is necessary).
    • Then download this SUPERAntiSpyware
    • Install this new version. It may tell you that you need to reboot to complete the installation. You must reboot at this time.
    • After the reboot, run SUPERAntiSpyware and immediately click the Check for Updates button to get more updates for the database.
    • Now run a new full scan of your system. And attach this first log later.
    • Since this infection has been reappearing after a reboot, you will have to reboot again and then run an additional scan to make sure it comes back clean. Attach this second log too.
Now also goto this link Using MGtools and download the new version of MGtools.exe from the black bold print link in the first sentence. Overwrite your previous MGtools.exe file with this one.

Run MGtools.exe then attach the below log:
    • the two new SUPERAntiSpyware logs
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

Ok I ran the scans. The second time it found nothing!!! :D

My computer has been running just fine, I haven't had pop-ups or anything weird even though detections were still showing up. It appears they are gone now, I will post the logs. Thanks!

You're welcome. Your logs are clean.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /u
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /u, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
      • Delete the C:\combofix folder from combofix (if it exists)
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. You can delete the C:\MGtools folder and the C:\MGtools.exe file. You can also delete the C:\MGlogs.zip
    7. If you are running Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures in step 3 the READ ME for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
