I found this virus in my computer.

I notice that my Comodo BoClean was not working. Same for my software firewall. I was using the Comodo Firewall. I was also using the McAfee Viruscan Enterprise version 8.0. I just took them out to reinstalled them but since I was connected to the internet, I saw malaware already in my computer asking to install protective software.

    So I follow your instructions.

    See attached files

I though That I was ok, but I run SuperAntispaware and Found that Vundo still there.

    See my next thread

This bump cost you at least another day and a half of waiting time. You should read this sticky thread: Don't Bump! It Only Hurts You!!!

You need to first put ComboFix on your Desktop as requested in the instructions. Otherwise you will not be able to run the below fix.

Why are you running your PC without proper protection? You have no antivirus and no firewall. If you continue to run your PC like this you will be refuse future help. I'm very sorry but we are just to busy to help those that refuse to help themselves. You have been given instructions on How to protect yourself multiple times in the past.

I strongly advise you to cleanup your Desktop. Remove eveything but links to run programs. Do not download and save programs here and defintely do not use it for long term storage. You need to keep ComboFix.exe here for now as we need it, but we will be removing it when we are finished with your cleanup. A cluttered Desktop is malware's playground and it can also cause performance degradation especially when you start saving large files here like you are doing.

Uninstall the below old versions of software:
    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 1

Now we need to use ComboFix again.
    • Make sure that combofix.exe that you downloaded while doing the READ & RUN ME is on your Desktop but Do not run it!
      • If it is not on your Desktop, the below will not work.
    • Also make sure you have shut down all protection software (antivirus, antispyware...etc) or they may get in the way of allowing ComboFix to run properly.
    • If ComboFix tells you it needs to update to a new version, make sure you allow it to update.
    • Open Notepad and copy/paste the text in the below quote box into it:
    • Save the above as CFscript.txt and make sure you save it to the same location (should be on your Desktop) as ComboFix.exe
    • At this point, you MUST EXIT ALL BROWSERS NOW before continuing!
    • You should have both the ComboFix.exe and CFScript.txt icons on your Desktop.
    • Now use your mouse to drag CFscript.txt on top of ComboFix.exe
    • Follow the prompts.
    • When it finishes, a log will be produced named c:\combofix.txt
    • I will ask for this log below
    Note:

Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

After reboot, now install the current version of Sun Java from: Sun Java Runtime Environment
Now run Ccleaner. Only use the Run Cleaner button. Do not run anything else on any other forms.

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:
    • C:\ComboFix.txt
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

Thank you for your help and I understand it is my fault for being careless. I will try really hard to avoid happening it again.

Now I have a Broadband router with hardware firewall, I turn on the Windows firewall, I have the AVS Antivirus on and I have performed all the task indicated below.

Again You guys are the best and I admire the wonderful work that you have performed for all the computers that are around.

The computer is working fine now I scanned it with the Malaware Anti Malaware and cannot find anything anymore.

An I also cleaned my desktop. :)

My kids left everything everywhere. I am not blaming them, but it is them who used this computer more.

    You're welcome.

Not when requested though. ;) Your logs still showed quite a few items on your Desktop that really should not have been there.

Which is why you should not be allowing them to have user accounts with Administrator priviledges. This was explained to you in the past when we gave you final instructions that included this link: How to Protect yourself from malware! You have 5 user accounts (not counting the built-in real Administrator account) and you have given 3 of the 5 admin privies. There should be only 1 admin.

    Your logs are clean.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /u
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /u, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
      • Delete the C:\combofix folder from combofix (if it exists)
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. You can delete the C:\MGtools folder and the C:\MGtools.exe file. You can also delete the C:\MGlogs.zip
    7. If you are running Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures in step 3 the READ ME for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
