Hello all, sure hope someone can help:

My wifes IE browser (Win XP) suddenly re-directs whatever I type into the google search box to other various obsure search engines I've never heard of, "yawarez.new" being the most frequent, but there are others. Now
this is my wifes machine and she doesnt even know what the word warez means. Maybe the name yawarez.net has nothing to do with it at all. Im not really sure. The other strange search engines Im directed to all have regular names.

I've tried using Yahoo and other search engines but I still get redirected to the "yawarez.net" serch engine and others. I've run all the maleware, spyware, virus, trjoan programs you could think of, without success. I've tried SpybotS&D,SpywareBlaster,SuperAntiSpyware,Malewarebytes,
Trojan Hunter, Macafee,Shredder,MS/Windows free online scan, nothing seems to find or fix this thing! When researching this online, I can only find
4-5 entries regarding this "yawarez.net", which makes me believe this is very new problem. I'm at my wits end. My last attempt was going to be running AVG Pro tonight to see if it can come up with anything. Can anyone give me an idea as to what this might be? Thanks in advance for any help.

Browser always redirecs me to other search engines? !

I've included my hijack log at the end of this post.

All of a sudden when I type something into my google browser box, it will take me to other various obsure search engines I've never heard of, (yawarez.net being one of 2 search engines it takes me to). I try again and again but it never takes me to where I want to go, always back to those few weird search engines.

This is my wifes home machine and has never even seen a warez site, so I don't understand where the yawarez.net comes into play?

I've tried using Yahoo and other search engines but I still get redirected to the "yawarez.net" serch engine and others. I've run all the maleware, spyware, virus, trjoan programs you could think of, without success. I've tried SpybotS&D,SpywareBlaster,SuperAntiSpyware,Malewarebytes,
Trojan Hunter, Macafee,Shredder,MS/Windows free online scan, nothing seems to find or fix this thing! When researching this online, I can only find
4-5 entries regarding this "yawarez.net", which makes me believe this is very new problem. Maybe theres no fix for it yet? I'm at my wits end. My last attempt was going to be running TrendMicro Housecall tonight to see if it can come up with anything. Can anyone give me an idea as to what this might be? Thanks in advance for any help. My hijack log is below.

Please follow the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST link given further down and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
    • If you have problems where no tools seem to run, please try following the steps given in the below and then continue on no matter what you find. You only need to try the TDSSserv steps if having problems getting scans in the Read & Run Me First.
    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

    Helpful Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode, you can run the steps in Safe Mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes and Spybot ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
    3. To avoid additional delay in getting a response, it is advised that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky:
    4. Any additional post is a bump which will add more delay. Once you attach the logs, your thread will be in the work queue and as stated our system works the oldest threads FIRST.
