BN1.tmp (bn.tmp) problem - network card blocked

hi i am having problems with bn1.tmp malware i have tried a solution to disable system resore reboot into safe mode search and remove keys for it in regedit but it kept respawning into other numbers 1,2,3 through to 7 etc.

i only manage to remove it when i updated windows update it has some sort of tool which seams to have removed it but ever since then i cannot get on the internet its like its blocked it or changed the network card settings (i remember seeing cmd.exe open up in task manager briefly i assume the malware used it)

anyway i looked at device manager in normal mode it shows yellow ! on it including for eset (nod32) firewall on some other apps SE phone software internet connections and 1394 firewire

tried uninstalling and reinstall using windows drivers but same problem, tried installing from cd but wouldn't even load drivers it froze and then closed the program down, in safe mode the yellow ! is not there so i dont know what to do i am using another pc to get on the internet as there is nothing in network connections its empty.

anyone got any ideas?

i do have a bluetooth dongle - thought maybe i would try connecting to internet that way for the time being as my router/modem does have wireless on it, i dont know if i have the right dongle, but the software that came with it didn't work so i installed windows drivers for it.

also i do have a hijackthis log for my computer if you want me to load this i am not sure if you allow this or not looking at the info written on here.

Please follow the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST link given futher down and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

If you have problems where no tools seem to run, please try following the steps given in the below and then continue on no matter what you find. You only need to try the TDSSserv steps if having problems getting scans in the Read & Run Me First.

If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.

Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

After completing the READ & RUN ME and attaching your logs, make sure that you tell us what problems still remain ( if any still do )!

Helpful Notes:

If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode, you can run the steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:

Starting your computer in Safe mode

If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes and Spybot ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

To avoid additional delay in getting a response, it is strongly advised that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky:

Any additional post is a bump which will add more delay. Once you attach the logs, your thread will be in the work queue and as stated our system works the oldest threads FIRST.
