completly infected

hello,

well my computer is totally infected by viruses and Trojans i don't know what needs to be done..... to begin with i have a P-4 with xp professional version 2002 and a service pack 2 . it is 2.4 ghz and 504 mb ram..... i read the instructions on the first page that needs to be run by me before i contact u guys by the trouble is i cannot uninstall certain programs like my anti virus avast.

i have implemented the normal start up mode in msconfig.

cant access the quarantine bit as my avast is not working.

my recycle bin is empty.

i already had the cc cleaner on my comp so i ran that in normal mode but cannot run it in administrator mode since its not accepting the password i kept for it and is saying that the password is invalid.

cant get the hidden files unhidden as my TOOL option is not showing any normal drop downs like folder options and all it has only three options from which i can select which are "map network drive", "disconnect network drive" and "synchronize" .

and since all these basic steps were not executable so i dint go to the detail steps of downloading softwares for fixing the comp.

the other think that i would like to mention,which might help, is that my task manager is also not working. whenever i want to use it it says "the task manger has been disabled by your administrator" and also my system restore option is not working.

please help me and let me know what step shall i perform to get my comp fixed.

We do not ask you to uninstall your anti-virus software.

Please follow the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST link given futher down and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

If you have problems where no tools seem to run, please try following the steps given in the below and then continue on no matter what you find. You only need to try the TDSSserv steps if having problems getting scans in the Read & Run Me First.

If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.

Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

Helpful Notes:

If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can run steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:

Starting your computer in Safe mode

If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes and Spybot ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

To avoid addtional delay in getting a response, it is strongly advise that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky Don't Bump! It Only Hurts You!!!. Any additional post is a bump which will add more delay. Once you attach the logs, your thread will be in the work queue and as stated our system works the oldest threads FIRST.
