Error remote reconnection plus other problems

I have WindowsXP
Starting last Saturday Spy-Bot which I have had since '04 and has worked faithfully I have updated it etc. Started asking if I wanted something downloaded I said no don't ask again to keep refusing to let it on the computer. This went on for 2 days. I had to remove Spy-bot. because of the above problem.
During this I also got a message along top on whatever I had open that read.
"Too Many Errors and faults were found in your system Possibly that was the result of virus attack. you must scan your system" < written in Red.
Or the message will say you have 18 trojans, & viruses scan now, which leads to: AntivirusXp.exe. wants me to buy a scanner and clean up tool which I enter cancel on
When I ran AVG it says I'm okay but occasionally I get an accessed file is infected Warning. Threat detected from AVG. File Name: bestantispywaresecurityscan.com/promo1/freescan.php?
Threat Name: Exploit Rogue spyware scanner. I do not let it download.
I have followed a lot of advice here and seem to of eliminated a lot of problems.
MY CONTINUING ISSUES:
Now when I try to re-install spy-boy or any thing else to try and eliminate or search for a way to fix or even search for problems I get: an all white page and in Huge Black letters:
ERROR Connection was reset by remote server.Scan my system now. if I click this scan my system now I get a chance to buy an antivirus product.
But then AVG slides up and warns me against it.
Another thing when I try to follow advice similar to my problem here from the forum I get a warning box that tells me: ERROR, Invalid floating point operation. and spy-bot can not go past the run sequence nor can any of the other clean up processes I try.

Please follow the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST link given futher down and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

If you have problems where no tools seem to run, please try following the steps given in the below and then continue on no matter what you find. You only need to try the TDSSserv steps if having problems getting scans in the Read & Run Me First.

If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.

Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

After completing the READ & RUN ME and attaching your logs, make sure that you tell us what problems still remain ( if any still do )!

Helpful Notes:

If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode, you can run the steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:

If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes and Spybot ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

To avoid additional delay in getting a response, it is strongly advised that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky:
