I got sumthing BAD, pls help

Use the below tips/notes to see if you can get further along. Pay close attention to what we say.... DO NOT stop. Try all steps.

Please follow the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST link given futher down and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

• If you have problems where no tools seem to run, please try following the steps given in the below and then continue on no matter what you find. You only need to try the TDSSserv steps if having problems getting scans in the Read & Run Me First.

• If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
• Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

Helpful Notes:

1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode, you can run the steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
   
   • Starting your computer in Safe mode
2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes and Spybot ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
3. To avoid additional delay in getting a response, it is strongly advised that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky:
   • Don't Bump! It Only Hurts You!!!

Any additional post is a bump which will add more delay. Once you attach the logs, your thread will be in the work queue and as stated our system works the oldest threads FIRST.

• Did you try every single step from beginning to end???
• Did you look for TDSSserv and did you find it or not?
• Did you actually run MGtools as requested?

You need to explain in much more detail what happens when you try to install and run programs.

• Can you copy the files to the PC?
• Does the installation run? If not, have you renamed the files as requested?
• Does the program run after installation? If not, have you renamed the files as requested?
• Do any programs currently on your PC run? Like Internet Explorer for example.

Without some logs, we cannot do anything for you since we do not know what the real problems are.

If you still cannot get going, uninstall ALL of McAfee and try again.
If that does not work, you can try posting in the Software Forum to see if a repair can be performed. You next option is to reinstall.

 

I still need a better explanation. Downloading, installing and running programs are three separate processes. Answer the below specific questions:

1. can you copy the INSTALLATION PROGRAMS below to the infected PC?
   • SUPERAntiSpyware.exe
   • mbam-setup.exe
   • combofix.exe
   • MGtools.exe
2. have you tried running each of the installations and which ones install and which ones do not?
3. Are you 100% sure you saved MGtools.exe to the root folder of the Windows boot drive?
4. What exactly happens when you double click on MGtools.exe? If double clicking on it does not do anything then try right clicking on it and select Open. Now what happens.
5. If SUPERAntiSpyware installed, what happend when you try to run the program to perform a scan?
6. If Malwarebytes installed, what happend when you try to run the program to perform a scan?
7. If you click Start, Run, and enter regedit and click OK, does the Windows Registry Editor open up?

I want you to keep an important piece of info in mind. If you cannot run anything, we cannot help you and your next step is to reinstall.
