Malware/Virus/Trojans - Please Help.

    Hello all,

    After surfing the net I think I stumbled accross a malicious site. My PC froze for a few minutes and then everytime I sat idle for a minute or two, pop-ups came on my PC.

    Started with "X-Ray Mobile Vision" popups and other "text xxxx to xxxx to recieve mobile games/tools", and now I keep getting popups of my webpage trying to access "sagipsul" or something similar.

    I downloaded AVG, Spybot, Trojan Scanner, Registery Key Cleaner, CCleaner, Adware and STOPzilla.

    I went into safe mode and opened AVG and scanned, about halfway through the scan a window popped up saying that my computer -must- be shutdown and a one-minute timer began ticking, unallowing me to finish my scan.

    After turning my PC back on, I opened up CCleaner and cleaned out about 55mb of trash, then used Disk Cleanup and cleaned about 250mb. After, I used Stopzilla and it detected around 150 threats, one of which was Vundo something (the program to remove it was called VundoFix, which I downloaded but it didnt detect the Vindi/Vundo virus) but I couldn't delete them because I didn't have the full version.

    I then ran Ad-ware and it found the Vindi/Vundo thing, and some other malware. I was able to remove the Vindi, but everytime I checked the box and clicked remove on the other malware it had found, nothing happened. Tried over 10 times so then I just closed it and opened trojanscanner.

    TrojanScanner found a few things, which I kept deleting, and then it asked me to restart, which I did. After I restarted I scanned again with TrojanScanner and it found "seneka.sys" or some sort, after clicking to remove it I was asked to restart...again.

    I restarted again and it found it again, after a few restarts I think I finally managed to delete it, and I thought that my virus trouble is over, until now. Random windows from FireFox keep popping up, "Primosearch", "Sagipsul", and random mobile games, and blank windows.

    I really do not want to reformat. Please help.

    I did everything I could, I think its gone... I used 'SpyNoMore' and about 3 other programs.

    Is there anyway I can check to make 100% sure it's gone before I start paypal/ebaying?

    Start by uninstalling SpyNoMore then continue on with the below.


    Please follow the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST link given futher down and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
    • If you have problems where no tools seem to run, please try following the steps given in the below and then continue on no matter what you find. You only need to try the TDSSserv steps if having problems getting scans in the Read & Run Me First.
    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

    Helpful Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can run steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes and Spybot ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
    3. To avoid addtional delay in getting a response, it is strongly advise that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky Don't Bump! It Only Hurts You!!!. Any additional post is a bump which will add more delay. Once you attach the logs, your thread will be in the work queue and as stated our system works the oldest threads FIRST.
