Hello everyone! This is my first post and I am really frustrated because my computer is infected with autorun.inf viruses and trojans due to a infected pendrive. I ran Malwarebyte Antimalware but its not detecting anything .Let me tell you that my computer is already vaccinated by panda security.( I got this virus while copying files from USB). I almost used everything like Autorun Eater, USB Virus Scan,Autorun Remover , Combo.exe, and even the most efficient Autorun Remover by icallsoft. I also tried Kaspersky Antivirus 2010 and it is detecting some of them but not all of them. Mind it guys , I am not criticizing Kaspersky ( after all it is one of the best antiviruses in the world) .Can anyone tell me a utility so that I can remove these autorun.inf viruses.

Please help me to open my pendrive safely.

    Thanks in advance!

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

I apologize for the delay in responding. This forum is so busy that at times threads get lost in the queue.

Please follow the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST link given futher down and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
    • If you have problems where no tools seem to run, please try following the steps given in the below and then continue on no matter what you find. You only need to try the TDSSserv steps if having problems getting scans in the Read & Run Me First. If TDSSserv is not found, just continue on with the READ & RUN ME.
READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide
    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
    • After completing the READ & RUN ME and attaching your logs, make sure that you tell us what problems still remain ( if any still do )!
    Helpful Notes:
    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode, you can run the steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes and Spybot ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
    3. If you cannot seem to login to an infected user account, try using a different user account (if you have one) in either normal or safe boot mode and running only SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes while logged into this other user account. Then reboot and see if you can log into the problem user account. If you can then run SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes, ComboFix and MGtools on the infected account as requested in the instructions.
    4. To avoid additional delay in getting a response, it is strongly advised that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky:
Any additional post is a bump which will add more delay. Once you attach the logs, your thread will be in the work queue and as stated our system works the oldest threads FIRST.

It appears as though you did the scans without the pendrive attached. So there is no info in your logs regarding what is on that drive. And you did not specify what was being reported.
Why am I not seeing any AV program installed on this system? My guess is that this computer can't run one:

I can give you the method to remove the autoruns.....but I doubt that you can perform the fix with those system specs.

Before trying to disable AutoRuns, proper updates for your Windows Operating System (OS) must be applied before AutoRuns can be properly disabled. Choose the link from below for your Windows OS and install this update now.

After installing the patch, reboot your PC even if it does not ask you to do so.

After installing the update that is appropiate for your version of Windows, continue on with the below instructions.

Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as AutoRunDisable.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
You need to make sure that you receive a success message about adding the above
to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work
and you will have to inform someone in our forun about your problem.

Reboot your PC again after applying the above registry patch.

    Note:

AutoPlay and Autorun are two different features. AutoPlay will still work and function normally, while autorun will be disabled. Thus if you insert your music CD into a drive, it should still autoplay. In the rare cases where a CD uses Autorun, it will be disabled.
