hi about a week ago my pc got infested with something really bad that installed stuff on it's own on my pc so i runned my antivirus scan(avast)at boot, than runned "ad aware" and found 1 trojan(can't remember the name) than installed and runned spyware doctor (in safe mode) and removed a bunch of stuff 1 of which was "virtumonde" ! now every scan i perform with the above programs comes out clean but i noticed that in firefox and ie7 when i search some with google and i click on a link result the first time ,rather than go to the site i clicked it goes to a site called:"shopica"!if i close the tab and re-click the link than it goes correctly to the link site!
what happened?the spyware doctor didn't remove everything? or left some behind?i don't know what else to do!!!!please advise!
what step to take!would a "hijack this log" help?:confused

Help!!!

ok, let me try this again!after being infected with something nasty and used spyware doctor to clean up found i had the"virtumonde"trojan!but could not completely get rid of ! i've followed your advice(in the sticky post)and tried the sequence of program you guys suggest! first superantispyware than spybot than mbam i've attached the logs! they all found some crap!i've also attached a hijack log that was done after everything else!
i still found that in firefox and ie7 when i search some with google and i click on a link result the first time ,rather than go to the site i clicked it goes to a site called:"shopica"!if i close the tab and re-click the link than it goes correctly to the link site!
help i'm still infected!!!! when i turn my pc of and than restart the crap comes back!how???????

If Spyware Doctor is not a paid for version, please uninstall it.

Please follow the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST link given futher down and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

If you have problems where no tools seem to run, please try following the steps given in the below and then continue on no matter what you find. You only need to try the TDSSserv steps if having problems getting scans in the Read & Run Me First.

If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.

Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

Helpful Notes:

If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can run steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:

Starting your computer in Safe mode

If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes and Spybot ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

To avoid addtional delay in getting a response, it is strongly advise that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky Don't Bump! It Only Hurts You!!!. Any additional post is a bump which will add more delay. Once you attach the logs, your thread will be in the work queue and as stated our system works the oldest threads FIRST.
