SysNotifier.exe help

Hello. This is my first post here. :wave

I know this has been posted a few times before, but none of the previous posts seem to help me out.

My PC is running perfectly, other than the fact that every once in a while my mouse skips/lags horribly for a long time and then just stops out of nowhere. Restarting my PC doesn't seem to stop the skipping mouse, either. It pretty much just stops on its own eventually, but it's super annoying!! It makes any video or audio I try to watch/and or listen to skip/lag also.

Sooo.. back to the point.
I keep getting an annoying little pop-up in my taskbar that comes up as SysNotifier.exe in my task manager.

I'm able to end task on the file, and delete the file from the Windows folder, but it just comes back.

So far it's not a threat, that I know of. Please help me get rid of this pest!

Welcome to Major Geeks!

Please follow the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST link given futher down and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

If you have problems where no tools seem to run, please try following the steps given in the below and then continue on no matter what you find. You only need to try the TDSSserv steps if having problems getting scans in the Read & Run Me First.

TDSSserv Non-Plug & Play Driver Disable

If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.

Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

Helpful Notes:

If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can run steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:

Starting your computer in Safe mode

If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes and Spybot ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

To avoid addtional delay in getting a response, it is strongly advise that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky Don't Bump! It Only Hurts You!!!. Any additional post is a bump which will add more delay. Once you attach the logs, your thread will be in the work queue and as stated our system works the oldest threads FIRST.

Thanks for the help!
It seems as if my brother managed to get rid of all the spyware/malware and everything, he had a go at it when I was at school.
I didn't have the time to do it on my own.

Everything is great now, except my mouse is still skipping and lagging really bad!
I don't think it has anything to do with malware, viruses or whatnot, because we just wiped all the drives and started over a little less than a month ago.
It was also doing this before the wipe.
It starts lagging really bad and skipping if I play music or video.
I have 894mb RAM so I don't think it could be the fact that I run out of memory.
Sorry to go so off subject, but, do you have any idea what this could be?
Or how I might go about finding out? Thank you!

I take it your brother has completed malware removal for you and that you are satisfied the machine is clean?

Sorry to go so off subject, but, do you have any idea what this could be?
Or how I might go about finding out? Thank you!
