Tired and Very Frustrated. Please help.

My screen slowly changes from normal to a dark hued green then grows lighter then goes away. Then stars over. It also is slowing down processes. I don't know if it is just really difficult to locate rogue adware/spyware or something worse that is slipping through the cracks.

To note: I have a built computer so I do not have an XP disk.

I have tried online scanners (Kapersky, Trend Micro, Panda, EST) and they all have said "clean".

Scanned with Malwarebytes, A-Squared, and SuperAntiSpyware Pro with updated drivers and nothing bad comes up.

I have a HJT, ISEEYOU, SDFix it logs which don't seem to indicate trouble but I have not tried Combofix or MG tools yet.

The ONLY thing I see quickly during a continuous A-2 scan is

HKEY_USERS\Administrator\Software\Nusearch\toolbar

HKEY_USERS\Administrator\Software\SSB2\ocean II screensaver (when this one pops up the cookie count on A-squared goes from 0 to 5.)

I tried to find and manually fix the issues above in Regedit but can't locate to the Admin folder and I don't know another way to get to that registry key.

I am so so very very frustrated at this point. I have been up for two nights trying to fix this. And I don't have the $300 to purchase a new Windows XP Pro disc to start all over. Not to mention all of the headache that comes along with reformatting. I am a student and really need to resolve this as soon as I can. Any help the forum guys can offer me at this point is GREATLY appreciated.

Please follow the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST link given further down and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

• If you have problems where no tools seem to run, please try following the steps given in the below and then continue on no matter what you find. You only need to try the TDSSserv steps if having problems getting scans in the Read & Run Me First.

• If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
• Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

Helpful Notes:

1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode, you can run the steps in Safe Mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
   
   • Starting your computer in Safe mode
2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes and Spybot ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
3. To avoid additional delay in getting a response, it is advised that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky:
   • Don't Bump! It Only Hurts You!
4. Any additional post is a bump which will add more delay. Once you attach the logs, your thread will be in the work queue and as stated our system works the oldest threads FIRST.
